一、教学内容

牛津小学英语5B第九单元The English Club A部分课文。

二、教学目标

1.能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词French, a city, visit, UK, British, USA, American, Japan, Japanese, France。

2.能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型Where are you from? I'm/He's/She's/It's/We're/Ther're from... Do you speak...?及其答语Yes, I do. I speak ..., too. No, I don't. I speak...

3.能听得懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型Are you from different countries? I'd like to visit it.

4.在生活中学会询问对方的国籍及所说语言,在模拟实际生活的情境中提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

三、教学重点和难点

1、能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写单词四会单词French, a city, visit, UK, USA,      British, American, Japan, Japanese, France。

2、听懂,会说,会读和会拼写句型Where are you from ? I’m from / He’s / She’s / It’s / We’re / They’re from …… Do you  speak …… ? 及其答语。Yes, I do . I speak ….. , too . No. I don’t . I speak …

录音机和磁带、头饰、图词卡

五,教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

1.      Greeting .

2.      Free talk

T: Hello ,boys and girls , I’m Miss Li . I’m from GangKou. How about you ?

S1:I’m … I’m from …

T:(问另一个学生)And you?

S2:I’m... I’m from…How about you ?

S3:  ….

(让学生同组之间接龙说。)

[设计意图:让学生从身边的事情说起,这样学生愿意说,说的兴趣也会很高]

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1  T : (师戴Clare 的头饰 )I’m Clare。I’m from France . I’m French . I speak French .

  How about you ?

S : (学生根据自己手中所持有的图片回答)

   I’m …    I’m from …   I speak …

2  出示俱乐部幻灯片,T: It's four o’clock p.m. The English Club is open. Let's go and join in, OK?

3  播放儿童歌曲《The more we get together》,创设英语俱乐部的快乐气氛。学生看歌词学唱。

师提问:Who are in the English club?生回答。

学生扮演角色并作自我介绍:

    S1: I'm Nancy . I'm from the UK . I'm British.

S2: I'm Ben. I'm from the USA . I'm American.

Ss:…..

6  师指着来自不同国家的两人说:Nancy is from the UK . Ben is from the USA . They are from different countries . 出示新单词different countries,领读,生跟读。

引导学生区别the same country ,知道country的单复数变化形式 。

7  出示Tony幻灯片的头像。师介绍:Look , a visitor is coming to the English club. The children are talking to him.同时,出示新单词visitor,领读,生跟读。

Step 3 Listen and answer

Listen to what they are talking, and try to answer the questions:

   a What's the visitor's name?

   b Where is he from?

   c Does he speak Chinese?

   d Does he like Shanghai ?

2  Ss answer these questions.着重解释c, d两个问题。

   c No, he doesn't. He speaks English.并在图片上出示该句。领读,生跟读。

   d Yes, he does. He'd like to visit it.也在图片上出示该句。领读,生跟读。同时,解释 he'd like =he would like.意为 他想要。在此乘机学习单词visit,并区别与visitor 的异同。

3  Tony would like to visit Shanghai .Would you like to visit Shanghai .(出示上海繁华的图片)

Ss : Yes

T:  I'd like to visit it .Beause Shanghai is a big city. 出示该句,领读,生跟读。学习词组a big city 师领读,生跟读。

Step 4 Listen and follow

  1 学生看图听对话,了解对话内容。

  2 学生听录音,模仿跟读两遍。

  3 学生自由朗读,教师巡视并给予指导。

  4 学生分角色朗读对话。

  5 学生四人小组,表演对话。
