一.Look and say 
(Teacher stands on the platform and show cards with words on it.The teacher shows the card and let students say the words.)
Cake,hot dog, hamburgers, chicken,French fries
二.Read the words after the teacher.
三.Look and say
(Teacher shows the cards with pictures of the words on them.
四.Practise the sentence pattern “What do you like?”
Teacher: What do you like?
Student 1: I like French fries.
Teacher asks another student: What do you like?     
Student 2: I like French fries,too.
Teacher:You can use only two words.How do you say that?
Student 3: Me,too.
五.Demonstrate the dialogue 
----What do you like?
----I like …….
(Two pairs of students are asked to act out the dialogue.)
六.The teacher ask,”如果你想请你朋友吃汉堡包,你会怎样说?” 
We can say,”Have some hamburgers.””Have some cakes. Have some chicken….
Who can act out the dialogue:
Student1:Have some chicken.
Student 2: Thank you.
(The teacher reminds the class that Group 4 haven’t answered and questions yet.)
七.The teacher: Please turn to page 50.
1. The teacher asks: Who can read the first sentence?
The teacher asks students to read the dialogue sentence by sentence and explain the dialogue sentence by sentence.
For example, the teacher explain why the plural forms are used here,the meaning of ‘Here you are’,”and” etc.
2.Look at the first picture: 
a.Read after the teacher.
b.Teacher asks the students whether they can read all of the sentences.
c.Read after the teacher again.
d.Give students 2 minutes to read the dialogue by themselves.
e.The teacher explains some sentences that the students can’t understand

f.Let’s see who can read the best. 
Who can read the first sentence? Student 1 reads the 1st sentence.
Who can read the second sentence? Student 2 reads the 2nd sentence.
……
g.Let’s read again.
The teacher reminds the students that they should point to the sentences when they are reading.Read after the teacher again sentence by sentence.
八.Let’s play a game,using ‘and’.The teacher explains the intruction of the game:The 1st student says,’ I like cakes.” Another student goes on with the sentence ,’ I like cakes and hamburgers.’
