执教计划

一、教学现状分析

学会学习和发展是素质教育的要求。英语是中小学阶段的一门重要学科,而中小学阶段的教育属基础教育。基础教育阶段是人的终身教育和终身发展最重要的阶段。小学英语教学应努力为学生的终身发展奠定坚实的语言基础,从而使学生获得必须的英语语言能力和文化素质。 

二、教材分析

三册教材共同分为11 个模块,内含一个期末分析模块,每个模块分两个单元。一般的,第一单元呈现要学习的语言内容,第二单元提供任务型练习,包括一首歌谣或小诗。歌谣和小诗的学习目的有三,一是培养学生的语感和节奏感,二是提高学生发音准确性,三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣介绍一定的西方文化。不常用单词不要求掌握。本书中学生将学习如何表达正在发生的事情和将要做的事情,如何询问和说明能力,如何获得允许,如何谈论体育比赛和旅行等活动,如何表达数字13-20以及12个月份。对语法不要求讲解,更不要求学生掌握,只要求学会初步运用。

三、教学目标

  通过学习本册教材使学生:

1、逐渐形成学习英语的兴趣和爱好,形成在真实环境中使用英语进行活动的积极性。

  2、能运用英语在日常生活和课堂情景中与老师和同学进行初步交际,如问候他人,家庭和朋友的简单消息。

  3、能参加运用英语组织和开展的日常课堂教学和生活游戏,及其它课内外活动。

  4.能听懂简单的指令并作出适当的反应,能读懂简单的配图小故事,进行口头描述,唱一

些英语歌曲,背一些小诗和歌谣。

5、养成良好的学习英语的基本方法;形成英语学习的自觉性,和通过英语学习,获得更多知识的求知欲。

  6.养成良好的文明行为习惯,掌握基本的英语交际礼貌策略,全面提高综合素质。

  7.乐于了解英语国家儿童的兴趣爱好,以及外国人的一般风俗习惯。

四、提高教学质量的措施

1、创造良好的学习气氛;

  2、在课堂上尽量的使用英语,适当使用汉语;

  3、合理确定教学要求。 不要求学生自由地说出课文所有内容,甚至不要求能自由地朗读课文。

  4、纠正控制性错误,不纠正非控制性错误。

5、多表扬多鼓励 。

6、利用录音磁带、多媒体教学课件、挂图、卡片、贴纸、电视教学片等。

Module 3   Activities

Unit 1  She's writing a letter.

I. Warmer

    1.Tell the ss that you are going to tell them what to mime and they have to do it.

    2.Start by giving the structions and doing the mimes yourselves and getting the ss to copy you.

    3.Then give them instructions and get them to do it by themselves.For example,you will say"mime taking a picture"and they have to mime it.

    4.Put the ss into groups.One s gives the intruductions and the other s do the mimes.

II. Listen and point.

    1. Tell the ss to close their books.

    2.Tell them that you are going to play the tape and they are going  to hear four actions(taking a picture,watching TV,reading a book,writing a letter).

    3.Tell them that when they hear the actions,they have to mime doing this.

    4.Go through a mime for each of the four actionsso that the ss are clear what they ahave to do.

    5.Now play the tape.The ss listen and do the mimes.You may want to do it more than once.

    6.Now get the ss to open the books.Listen and point at the pictures as they listen.

III. Point and say.

    1.Invite four ss to the front of the classroom.

    2.Whisper in their ear one thing each that they should mime doing.

    3.Get them to mime the activities in front of the classroom.

    4.Get the rest of the class to tell you what mimes they are doing.

    5.Now you can do the activity in the book.The ss can work together.One s points at a picture and the other s says who it is and what he/she is doing.

VI. Extension Activity 1

    1.Tell the ss to choose  an activity and to draw a simple picture of the activity.Now tell the ss that you are going to call out activities .If they have drawn the picture to represent that activity,they should stand up and hold the picture.

    2. Continue like this and after a while,get them to swap pictures so they have a diffrent picture and have to listen for different verbs.

 

 Unit 2   What are you doing?

I. Warmer

    1.Get some pictures of people doing things,or use the flashcards that come with the book of if there is none,I will draw some pictures myself.

    2.Place the pictures on the wall around the classroom.

    3.Tell the ss that you are going to call out activities and they have to piont to the correct picture.

II. Listen ,point and say.

    1.Tell the ss to close their books.

    2.Tell them that they are going to listen to a tape and they have to mime the actions they hear.

    3.Play the tape again ,but this time tell the ss that they should open their books and point at the picture.

III. Act it out.

    1.For this activity ,put the ss into groups of 5 or 6.

    2.Tell the ss that 3 or 4 ss do mimes and one s asks the questions and one s answers.

    3.Do an example in front of the class to make the activity clear.

VI. Draw and say.

     1.Tell the ss to draw this grid.

     2.Explain that they have to follow the teacher's instructions .The teacher is going to describe the  contents of each box and they have to draw it.

Module 4  In the Park

Unit 1 What are they doing?

I. Warmer.

  1.Start by reminding the ss of different actions.

  2.Tell the ss that you are going to mime some actions and they have to call out the verb you are miming.

Examples

T:(mimes playing table tennis)

SS:You are playing table tennis.

T:(mimes singing a song)

SS:You are singing a song.

  3.Continue like this and then get the ss to do the same in pairs.This will quickly revise lots of verbs.

II. Listen and point.

  1.Divide the class into two groups.

  2.Tell half the class to write the word "Daming" on a pice of paper and half the class to write the word "Amy".

  3.Tell the ss to close their books.

  4.Tell them that you are going to play the tape and they have to listen and then after each sentence say who was speaking.If it was Daming ,then the s with "Daming"should stand up ,call out "Daming" and hold up their piece of paper .If it was "Amy" should stand up.

  5.Play the tape one sentence at a time.

  6.This is a nice way to introduce the dialogue.

  7.Now get the ss to open the books and follow the story while you play it again.

III.Act it out.

  1.Before starting,get the ss to think of as many activities as possible and write them on the board.

  2.Now put the ss into groups of four.Two ss have to mime actions and the third s then asks the fourth student what they are doing.

  3.The fourth s must answer.

  4.Then get them to change roles and continue.

 

 

 

 Unit 2   What is amy doing?

I. Warmer

  1.Write lots of verbs on one side of the board and nouns on the other.

  2.tell the ss to copy them down and then match them by drawing a line to connect the verb to its noun.

  3.This will help them with many of the common collections between their verbs and nouns.

  4.Check their work and then tell them that you are going to call out the verbs and they have to mime them.

II. listen and point.

  1.Before starting the excercise ,get the ss to focus on the pictures.

  2.Tell them that you are going to describe the pictures and they have to point at the correct one.

Examples

T:Listen to music .

SS:(Point at the correct picture.)

T:Having breakfast.

SS:(Point at the correct picture.)

  3.Now get the ss to do the same in pairs.

  4.This will prepare them well for the listening activity.

  5.Play the tape and get them to listen and point at the correct picture.Tell them to answer the question "What are they doing?"

III. Say and point.

Extension activity 1

  1.This is a nice additional activity that you might like to do in the class.

  2.Divide the class into two groups.

  3.Tell one group to choose any verb from this list and to write it down on a big piece of paper.Each student can choose a verb.They

don't have to choose the same verbs.

    4.Tell the second group to choose any word from this list.

They have to write it on a big piece of paper.

  5.Now explain that you are going to point at a s in the first group and thay have to stand up and read out their verbs.

  6.All the ss in the second group who have the correct collection then stand up and read out their words.

  7.Continue like this .It is a great way of practising the collections.

VI. Do,look and say.

  1. Tell the ss to get into pairs.

  2.Tell them that you are going to call out "Go" and they have to mime sth. straight away.

  3.When you ask "What are you doing?"They have to explain what they are doing.If they are doing the same mime,they have to say"too"

Unit1 Do you want some rice?

I. Warmer

  1.Write the name of some foodson the board but miss out one letter.

  2.Now tell the ss that you are going to call out the names of the foods and the ss have to tell you what letter is missing.

  3.Continue like this.It will give the ss lots of exposure to the food vocabulary and help them with the spelling and with the letters.

  4.After a while,you can get the ss to do the exercise in pairs.

II. Listen and point.

  1.Tell the ss to close their books.

  2.Tell the ss that they are going to listen to the tape,and they have to write down all the foods they hear.

  3.Play the tape again.

  4.Ask the ss to tell you all the foods they heard and write them down on the board.

  5.Now tell the ss to open their books and play the story again.This time get them to follow in their books.

III. Point ,ask and answer.

  1.Use the pictures to do some extra work on vocabulary.

  2.Tell the ss that you are going to call out the names of the foods and they have to point at them in their books.

  3.After a while you can get the ss to do the same in pairs.One calls out a food and the other points at it.

VI. Teaching tip.

   Tell the ss to draw a picture of a food they like. It can be a simple picture but they must know the word in English.Now call out two names or point to two ss.The ss stand up and hold up their pictures.Student A says what Student B is holding and s B says what sA is holding,The two ss sit down and the teacher calls out another two names.

 

 

 

Unit 2    I'm making dumplings.

 

I. Warmer

  1.Extension Activity 1

    Tell the ss that you are going to call out some actions and they have to mime they.

   Examples

   T:I am eating.

   Ss:(mime eating)

   T:I am cooking.

   Ss:(mime cooking)

   Continue like this,using the worbs from vacabulary extension list.They are all connected with food.

II. Act it out.

  1.Get the ss to think of different answers to the question "What are you doing?

  I am making some cakes.

  I am cooking noodles.

  I am eating rice.

  I am eating vegetables.

  2.Write the possible answers on the board and get the ss to work in pairs,practising the sentances and giving different answers each time.

  Examples

  S1:What are you doing?

  S2:I am cooking noodles.Do you want some?

  S1:Yes,please.

  S2:What are you doing?

  S1:I am cooking vegetables.Do you want some?

  S2:No, thank you!

Teaching tip

  Teach the phrase "No, thank you!"as some of the ss might like to say "No."when they don't want something.

III.Game.

  Extention Activity2.

  1.Before starting the game,get the ss to think of all the different foods they know and write them on the board.

  2.Put the ss into groups of 4 or 5 and explain the game.

  3.if a s can't remember the list as it gets longer and longer ,then the group has to start again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Module 7       Travel

 

unit 1 We're going to go to Hainan.

I. Get four large pieces of paper and write the following words on them.

  Chinese

  English

  Japanese

  American

  2.Place the words on the walls around the class.

  3.Tell the ss that you are going to call out the names of the countries and they have to point and say the adjectives.

Examples

  T:England.

  Ss:English.

  T:China.

  Ss:Chinese.

  4.This will help the ss with the listening passage in the next section.

II.Listen and point.

  1.Tell the ss to close their books.

  2.Now tell them that you are going to play the tape and they have to listen and write down the names of the countries they hear.

Teaching tip

  Always try to find a simple activity to introduce the listening to the ss . We call these "gist activities".They get the ss to focus on the listening but not to listening the ss have to listen for the names of countries.

  3.Now get the ss to open their books and to follow the story.

  4.Tell the ss to look at the story carefully. On the board write the following things.

   Hainan         5 o'clock

   by plane        Grandpa

  5.Tell the ss to say sentences from the dialogue using these key words.

  Examples

  T:Hainan.

  Ss:We're going to Hainan tomorrow.

  T:Grandpa.

  Ss:I'm going to visit my grandpa.

  6.Continue like this.It will get the ss to focus on the key language.

III. Point and say.

  1.You may want to extend this activity.Tell the ss to think of one thing they are going to do tomorrow and to draw a simple picture of it.

  2.Now call out the names of the ss and get them to stand up and say what they are going to do tomorrow.

  3.They should hold up their pictures .If anyone else has drawn the same thing ,they should stand up and say the same sentence, but add the word "too".

  Examples

  T:Maria.

  Maria:I'm going to play tennis.

  Ss(with the same picture):I'm going to play tennis,too.

  T:Paul.

  Paul:I'm going to ride my bike.

  Ss(with the same picture):I'm going to ride my bike ,too.

  4.This is a good activity for helping the ss to understand the word "too" and for practising the future with "be going to".

 

Unit 2  We're goin to visit the Ming Tombs.

 

I. Warmer.

  Extension Activity one.

  1.Tell the ss to write the word "too"on one piece of paper.

  2.Now tell the ss some things you are going to do tomorrow and they have to listen and hold up "too"if they are going to do the same thing,then they don't have to do anything.

Examples

T:I'm going to swim.

Ss:(Hold up "too"if they are going to do the same.)

T:I'm going to visit my grandpa and grandma.

Ss:(Hold up "too"if they are going to do the same.)

II. listen ,point and say.

  1.Before you start,write the names of some animals on the board but miss out the first letter.

  2.Tell the ss that you are going to call out the names of different animals and they have to call out the missing letter.

  3.This will revise spelling and letters and will also remind them of some animals.

T:Pandas.

  4.Continue like this.The revision will be useful for the rest of the unit.

III. Listen and say ,then sing.

  1.To make the song more fun,draw pictures of some animals and put them on the board.You can use pictures from a magazine or flashcards if you wish.

  2.When the children sing the song and say the word "zoo"they can point at the pictures of the animals.

When they say the words "and you"they can point at each other.

  Teaching tip.

Module 9   Happy Birthday

 

Unit 1  Can I have some sweets?

I. Warmer

  1.Get the ss to think of all the foods they know in English.

  2.Write up their suggestions on the board.

  3.Now get them to draw one thing from the list on a big piece of paper.

  4.Now tell the ss that you are going to call out two ss's names and they have to stand up and hold up their their pictures.

  5.Students A names what Student B is holding and Student B has to name what Student A is holding.

  Example

  T:John and Maria.

    (John holds up his picture and Maria holds up her picture.)

  John:Pizza.

  Maria:Bread.

II. Listen and point.

  1.Tell the ss to get a large piece of paper and write the words "Sorry,you can't."

  2.Tell the ss that you are going to ask them for different items of food.

  3.The ss have to say "Sorry, you can't ."and hold up the piece of paper each time.

Examples

T:Can I have some sweets?

Ss:(hold up the sign)Sorry,you can't.

T:Can I have some biscuits?

Ss:(hold up the sign)Sorry,you can't.

  4.Continue this way to give the ss lots of practice.

  5.Now tell them that you are goin to play the tape.

  6.Each time they hear "Sorry,you can't ."they have to hold up their pieces of paper and shout it out (you may need to stop the tape.).

  7.Play the tape.The ss should have their books closed so that they have to listen.

  8.They should hear "Sorry,you can't ."three times.

  9.Now play the tape again and get them to following in their books.

III. Ask and answer.

  1.If you want to make this activity more real,then get the ss to draw five small pictures of food and then have them work in pairs.

  2.When Student A asks a question ,Student B looks at his/her cards and sees what they are.Then they either say "Yes,you can."or "Sorry,you can't."

  3.You can teach them the phrase "Here you are."so that the student can give the food (the card)to the other student.

Examples

S1:Can I have some cake?

S2:Sorry, you can't.

S1:Can I have some bread?

S2:Yes,you can.Here you are.

Teaching tip.

Always make the most of the book and the pictures and clue that it provides.The pictures can be very useful for establishing the vocabulary before ss do an activity or they will have problems understanding and will be forced to continually ask the teacher questions to clarify the meaning .By doing teh vocabulary first,you allow the ss to concentrate on the language and their fluency.

 

 

Unit 2 Happy Halloween!

 

I. Warmer.

  1.Tell the ss to write the names of one food on a large piece of paper.

  2.Tell them that you are going to ask questions about the food you want and the ss who have written down that word have to stand up and say"Yes,you can.Here you are."

  3.They only stand up if they have written down the name of the food you want and they must hold it up.

Examples

T:Can I have some bread?

Ss:(with word"bread")Yes,you can.Here you are.

T:Can I have some fruit?

Ss:(with word "fruit")Yes,you can.Here you are.

  4.This will prepare the ss for the next activitiy and revise the key structures and vocabulary.

II. Act it out.

  1.Tell the ss to get a bag,or draw some sweets or use something as a prop.

  2.When they say "Here you are.",they offer the sweets.

III. Listen and say,then chant.

  1.Divide the class into two groups.

  2.Put on the walls some pictures of soup,fruit and rice.

  3.One group plays the girl and should point at the food as they ask the question.The chef then answers and also suggests some rice.The chef should point at the "rice".

  4.When they chant"They are all very nice.",the chef group should rub their tummy to show that the food is good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Module 10    The  Months

 

Unit 1 There is one birthday in may

 

I. Warmer.

  1.On the board write the following.

   January

   February

   March

   April

   May

   June

  2.Tell the ss that you are going to call out a month and then say "before"or "after"and the ss have to say the month before or after it.

Examples

T:February-before .

Ss:January.

T:March-after.

Ss:April.

  3.Before you start,you may want to practise the pronunciation of the first six months.

II. Listen and point.

  1.On the board write these months and numbers.

   June          6

  2.Explain to the ss that you are going to play the tape and the ss have to connect the correct month to the correct number.

  3.The numbers represent the amont of birthday parties that Lingling is going to go to.

  4.Tell the ss to close their books.

  5.They may need to listen to the tape two or three times.

  6.Tell the ss to open their books and to check if they have got the numbers correct.

  7.Now play the tape again and get the ss to follow the complete dialogue in their books.

III. Point,ask and answer.

  1.Write the six months on large pieces of paper.

  2.Invite six ss to the front and tell them to stand in a circle.

  3.Give each student the name of one of the months.

  4.Explain that you are going to call out two months and the ss holding those two months must move to the center of the circle,swap pieces of the paper and say the months ,and then go back to where they were standing before.

  5.The teacher then calls out another two months and so on.

  6.The rest of the class must listen and ,if the teacher says a month that is not included in the the circle ,like"July",then the rest of the class must stand up and say "No".

  7.This is a great way of getting lots of practice with the months and also a fun activity.

  8.Now do the activity in the book.Get the ss to work in pairs .They should ask and answer questions about the number of birthdays in each month.

 

 

Unit 2 There are twelve months in a year.

 

I. Warmer.

  1.On the board write the following incomplete words.

   _ovember           _ecember

  2.Tell teh aa to look in their books.They will see the complete words.

  3.Explain that you are going to call out the months and the ss have to say which letter is missing.

Examples.

T:December.

Ss:D.

T:October.

Ss:O.

  4.This will give the ss lots of exposure to the months and also help them with spelling.

  5.If you wish,you can get the ss to do the same exercise in pairs.

II. Listen and say,then sing.

  1.Divide the class into 12groups.

  2.Give each group a month from January to December.

  3.Tell them to write down the name of their month on a large piece of paper(each member of the group should have a piece of paper.).

  4.Tell the ss that they are going to sing the song.and that each group should shout out their month in the song.

  5.All the ss sing the first line and the last line of the song.Each group shout out their month and holds up their piece of paper with the month written on it.

III. Listen and say,then chant.

  1.Divide the class into three groups.

  2.Each group has one part to chant.

  3.When they ask the question(at the end of the first and second parts),they should point at the next group who are going to chant.(i.e.,they should direct the song to them).

  4.Get them to mime actions.For "go to school"the ss can mime walking and for "fly kite' they can mime flying a kite and for "It's festival time"they can wave their hands and jump up and down.

Teaching tip

  Remember it really helps memory to have mimes and flashcards to use when singing songs or chants.Try to make the songs and chants as active as possible.

一、教学现状分析

学会学习和发展是素质教育的要求。英语是中小学阶段的一门重要学科,而中小学阶段的教育属基础教育。基础教育阶段是人的终身教育和终身发展最重要的阶段。小学英语教学应努力为学生的终身发展奠定坚实的语言基础,从而使学生获得必须的英语语言能力和文化素质。 

二、教材分析

三册教材共同分为11 个模块,内含一个期末分析模块,每个模块分两个单元。一般的,第一单元呈现要学习的语言内容,第二单元提供任务型练习,包括一首歌谣或小诗。歌谣和小诗的学习目的有三,一是培养学生的语感和节奏感,二是提高学生发音准确性,三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣介绍一定的西方文化。不常用单词不要求掌握。本书中学生将学习如何表达正在发生的事情和将要做的事情,如何询问和说明能力,如何获得允许,如何谈论体育比赛和旅行等活动,如何表达数字13-20以及12个月份。对语法不要求讲解,更不要求学生掌握,只要求学会初步运用。

三、教学目标

  通过学习本册教材使学生:

1、逐渐形成学习英语的兴趣和爱好,形成在真实环境中使用英语进行活动的积极性。

  2、能运用英语在日常生活和课堂情景中与老师和同学进行初步交际,如问候他人,家庭和朋友的简单消息。

  3、能参加运用英语组织和开展的日常课堂教学和生活游戏,及其它课内外活动。

  4.能听懂简单的指令并作出适当的反应,能读懂简单的配图小故事,进行口头描述,唱一些英语歌曲,背一些小诗和歌谣。

5、养成良好的学习英语的基本方法;形成英语学习的自觉性,和通过英语学习,获得更多知识的求知欲。

  6.养成良好的文明行为习惯,掌握基本的英语交际礼貌策略,全面提高综合素质。

  7.乐于了解英语国家儿童的兴趣爱好,以及外国人的一般风俗习惯。

四、提高教学质量的措施

1、创造良好的学习气氛;

  2、在课堂上尽量的使用英语,适当使用汉语;

3、合理确定教学要求。 不要求学生自由地说出课文所有内容,甚至不要求能自由地朗读课文。

4、纠正控制性错误,不纠正非控制性错误。

5、多表扬多鼓励 。

6、利用录音磁带、多媒体教学课件、挂图、卡片、贴纸、电视教学片等。
